If a faculty member knows that he or she will be missing a day, all attempts to schedule a substitute instructor shall be taken. If illness or hospitalization causes a faculty member to miss more than a week of instruction, the Department Chair shall appoint a substitute teacher. The substitute teacher may or may not be a member of the current teaching faculty. Rate of pay for the substitute shall be determined by the Academic Department Chair and the Vice President of Academic Affairs, but is usually at the adjunct lecture hourly rate.
I always found inspiration from my professors at NJC who made me laugh, and encouraged me to be the best I could be. Eventually I would like to use my skills to become a video game programmer or designer.
It just sounded like it would be a great fit for the path I chose.
