What is your city/town known for? Is it different from Sterling?

My city is known for their old city center and their colleges. It is very different from Sterling.

If we could visit one place in your country, where would it be and why?

Probably Amsterdam. It's a city with a lot of history and by far the most touristic city.

Did you always know you wanted to study in the U.S.?

No, a friend of mine told me about it and that is really how I came into the process of studying in the U.S.

Where were you excited or nervous about before you left?

I was really nervous and excited at the same time about entering a different country with a different language and new people.

Have you had a memorable moment at Northeastern?

I've had a lot of memorable moments at NJC. The most memorable one was probably going to LA with a couple of guys from the soccer team.

What advice would you give another student thinking of studying in the U.S.?

If you want to have a different experience from the average student from your home country, it is definitely worth it.

What I like best about Northeastern are the very friendly and supportive people that study and work there. As a soccer player, we also have a very bonded team and I really like the combination of competitiveness and help that we offer each other. For students that think about coming to Northeastern you can expect all of these things. Speaking as an international student, you will have an amazing experience here and one you won't regret!
