I chose NJC because it’s close to home. My high school counselor explained that going to a two-year college, before a four year, would help me decide what I want to do moving forward.

What I like the most about NJC is that my classes are fun and interesting, and I learn something new every day! My professors make the classes fun and engaging, and the information I learn is fascinating.

After I leave NJC I plan to transfer to a four-year college and get my bachelor’s degree. I am thinking of CSU in Fort Collins or moving to another state.

My family is what inspires me because they have been by my side through the good and bad times here at Northeastern. There was a point where I wanted to give up, but they have motivated me to never give up and keep going. Without them, I wouldn't be at this point in my life.

My favorite memory is meeting two of my best friends Haleigh and Kim. I was going through a hard time last semester and I met Kim. Kim introduced me to Haleigh and after that, it became history. I honestly forgot how we met, but it was one of the best times for me here at Northeastern.
