Why did you choose Northeastern?
I chose Northeastern because of the small town atmosphere and the class sizes. Students are able to connect with the community while doing well in class and receiving individualized help.
What do you like about your area of study?
I love studying agriculture business because of the versatility. In my classes I learn a wide array of topics from all fields including non-agriculture industries. This allows me to connect different practices together.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
After graduation, I will continue my education at Colorado State University. Once I receive my Bachelor's degree I will begin working in production agriculture with a focus on the beef industry. I plan on one day owning my own backgrounding operation where I will care for freshly weaned calves until they are about one year old.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by adults who are passionate about their careers regardless the hardships. They show that if you love what you do, there will never be regrets about what could have been different.
What is your favorite memory at Northeastern?
My favorite memory from Northeastern was when Josh Sundquist came to speak. He is one of my favorite authors and it was special listen to him in person.
