Information Technology Action Plan (IT and Academic Technology)

Ongoing:

  • Analyze faculty software requests for accessibility and notify faculty if there are potential concerns with an application they may want to use in the classroom. If faculty believe it is the only application that can meet the need yet it is not accessible, some consideration would need to be paid to making the same content available through other mediums.
  • Analyze applications requested by faculty and staff for accessibility components. If components are missing and not available for that product, IT will notify the requesting party and suggest they look for an alternate product or be prepared to provide the content in multiple modalities.

Provide support for other departments listed within this document to the extent that software installation assistance and configuration is needed on College-owned equipment.

As a student, I have loved how much the teachers care about you. They want you to succeed in whatever you want to do and are always willing to help. It makes it much easier to cope with change and classes that aren't your strong suit.
