Counseling and Guidance

  1. Each student has planned conferences during the school year. Attendance at all conferences is required for satisfactory completion of the program, and all conferences are recorded in the student’s progress file. Conferences occur at the mid-term and end of fall and spring semesters and culminate with a final conference at the end of the program.
    1. Students may confer with faculty members upon request in addition to the regularly scheduled conferences. Faculty may also set up additional conferences if issues/concerns arise. 
  2. NJC’s Student Success Department is available on campus in the Hays Student Center for personal, academic, and career concerns or issues.
