Free tutoring is available in the Monahan Learning Center (MLC). From algebra to chemistry to speech -- the instructional specialists and student learning assistants provide tutoring many courses offered on the Northeastern campus. Tutoring and study group sessions are provided at no cost to Northeastern students.
To make an appointment, email NjcMlcTutoring@njc.edu or call 970-521-6791. Students can request to schedule an appointment at a time convenient for them, and the MLC will take care of the rest.
Current NJC Students can upload a paper for review by an MLC Writing Tutor. This is a free service, but appointment opportunities are limited.
Papers must be submitted at least one week prior to the due date for the assignment. An in-person writing consultation will be scheduled by the MLC tutor once the paper is uploaded. Students must attend the consultation session to receive feedback/edits for their paper.

Drop-in tutoring for math and writing is available in the Excel Center located in the Monahan Learning Center. It's free and no appointment is needed.
The Excel Center is staffed by Northeastern faculty and instructional specialists. It is full of resources for writing in different formats.
