Clubs & Organizations
You're almost guaranteed to meet your best friend when you become a part of the Agriculture Department's clubs and organizations. The Aggies Club and Collegiate Farm Bureau offer a family atmosphere where you'll build relationships with others and participate in activities centered around community service, recreation, leadership and education. Check out the Aggies Club and Collegiate Farm Bureau to see why these organizations are two of the largest on campus.

Teams
Agriculture goes beyond the field and classroom when you're part of the Ranch Horse Versatility, Rodeo,or Livestock Judging teams. As an Equine student, you can show and work with industry clinicians and judges through the Ranch Horse Versatility team giving you work-related experience and knowledge. Participate in a winning tradition on the Rodeo team where student-athletes are trained to have the "mental edge" over their competition - producing many champions. As a part of our Livestock Judging team, you'll be part of a top program in the Junior College ranks with countless accolades taking you to the next level. For over 50 years, these programs have been an integral part of the Northeastern culture. Check out if you have what it takes to be part of a winning tradition.

Generations of FFA Members
I attribute much of my success in FFA to my time at Northeastern and the connections I made while I was there. As a student, I gained a deeper appreciation for agriculture by diversifying my course of studies and through my involvement as a workstudy for the agriculture department. I progressed as a leader by being involved in different activities on campus, including the Aggies Club, Honors Program, Ranch Horse Versatility team, student senate, Collegiate Farm Bureau, and two different student ministries; Crossroads and Roundpen. At Northeastern, I also developed my interpersonal skills as a resident assistant and student ambassador. - Stephanie Bushnell '19, animal science and agriculture education, 2019-2020 Colorado FFA State Reporter
