Work Study Position Application
Williamson Lowery Fredregill Ltd. Work Study
This position works with the Law Firm of Williamson, Lowery, Fredregill, LTD in Sterling, Colorado.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with routine office functions which may include reception, organizing, filing, copying, creating basic documents.
2. Participate in meetings and court proceedings as an observer and provide assistance as needed.
3. Conduct basic research.
4. Coordinate hospitality functions with clients including coffee/water service and getting food.
5. Cooperate and respect the privacy of clients and be willing to sign non-disclosure or similar agreements expected when dealing with sensitive information.
6. Maintain a timesheet and provide verified timesheets to NJC for compensation.
7. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Abilities
· Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to get to the office and courts as needed
· Meet the workstudy requirements of the college (may include FAFSA/CAFSA verification)
· Respect the community employer by being prompt, courteous and willing to learn
· Possess basic office skills including organizational skills, familiarity with MS Office or similar tools, and communication skills
· The ideal candidate has a strong interest in the law profession

To qualify for a work-study position, you must first have a completed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine your eligibility. You may apply for multiple work-study positions. Your submitted application will be sent to the position supervisor(s), and it is up to them to contact you for an interview or for hiring. After being hired, you will be required to sign a financial aid work-study contract, and complete hire forms through our Human Resources office.
