Have an elective in mind that you've been wanting to explore or need to conquer a required class? There's a variety of remote classes you can take this summer – from wherever you happen to be.
Summer online courses at Northeastern Junior College. Conquer core classes or explore electives quickly during 2, 5, 6, or 7-week sessions.

What is remote learning?

Remote learning takes the best of classroom instruction and online instruction and combines it in a way to create a flexible, interactive learning experience. In a remote learning class you will meet with your instructor and classmates on regularly scheduled days and times each week just like you would if you were coming to campus. Using video conferencing (WebEx, Zoom, or similar), you will see and work with your course instructor to attend lectures, ask questions, and share information during class time. When you’re not ‘in-class’ you have the flexibility to complete class work at a time that works best for you. The best part is you can attend class from wherever you are – at home, in a coffee shop, at the park, or even at the beach!
