Orientation and 1st Year Experience

Welcome Northeastern students! Fall 2023 Orientation is a great opportunity to be introduced to campus. As in years past, Orientation will be held in a hybrid format. Prior to arrival on campus you will need to review the training videos included on this page and complete the mandatory Alcohol, Marijuana and Sexual Assault Prevention courses. We ask that all students, starting new at Northeastern in the Fall of 2023, join us on August 18th, at 9:00 a.m. in E.S. French Theater for the IN-PERSON portion of New Student Orientation. Orientation is mandatory and will introduce you to services on campus with their location and point of contact, and ensure that you are technologically prepared to begin classes on Monday, August 21st.

*Adult Learner/Commuter Student Orientation*
If you do not live in the Residence Halls, or are working full-time and/or have dependents you are caring for, we invite you to an alternative lunch Orientation on Thursday, August 17th, from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Chuckwagon Cafe located on the Northeastern Campus.
