Centennial Mental Health Center

The program awards successful applicants awards from $500 - $2,000. Applicant must be a United States citizen or a legal immigrant. Applicant must intend to complete minimum of a bachelor's degree in a behavioral health related field and enrolled full-time. Apply here 

Colorado Conservation Tillage Association

This scholarship awards $1,000 to a student who will attend a higher institution of learning full-time in Spring or Fall OR a full-time student enrolled in a vocational (trade) school program in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas or Wyoming as well as a resident in these states. Majoring/training in Agriculture (equine and animal science excluded), Ag business, Horticulture or Agronomy with a Minimum GPA of 2.7. Apply here

Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs

Offers an $2,000-$4,000 scholarship for students majoring in a variety of environmental and horticultural related fields. The guidelines and forms for this scholarship are the same as for the National Garden Clubs, Inc. scholarship, which are available on the organization's website

Colorado Flatlanders Car Club

The scholarship goes to an entering freshman who is planning a career in auto technology and priority is given to a graduate of a northeastern Colorado high school or a nontraditional age student. Applicant must submit a high school transcript, letter or resume stating vocational motivation and specific aspects of financial need. The scholarship is renewable for second year students with a 2.75 cumulative GPA. Apply Here

County Sheriffs of Colorado Scholarship Program

This year, each Sheriff’s Office on the odd-numbered year list will accept scholarship applications beginning January 1, 2023 through March 1, 2023, for awards applicable to the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 academic year.  If you are a permanent resident of a county on the odd-numbered school year list below, please apply by the March 1, 2023, deadline.  Click here for more information.

Daughters of the American Revolution

The National Society DAR is pleased to offer over 26 scholarships for graduating high school seniors, college, and graduate students in varied areas of study. Applicants must be citizens of the United States of America.  Applicants must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the USA. Must apply through the online submission portal.

Denver Mercy Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association

Applicant must be a US Citizen and have evidence of acceptance at or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program at any level. Candidates may be a graduate of an accredited nursing program intending to pursue educational activities to advance their career. 

Denver Safe Driver

The Law Offices of Dianne Sawaya Denver Safe Driving Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship for a Colorado high school senior, college student, or first-year law student enrolled in a two to five-year institution in Colorado. Find the scholarship application here!

Early Childhood Education COSI

The (COSI) grant supports Coloradans that have experienced an economic loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as lost or adverse changes in employment, increased food or housing insecurity, had to withdraw from college after March 13, 2020, or suffered another form of economic loss. First Presbyterian Church

The Melvin Elementary Education Scholarship is available to students who live in Logan or Washington county and intend on majoring in elementary education. The Fred and Sue Josties Memorial Scholarship for Hastings College is available to students who live in Logan County and plan on attending Hastings College. 

Heather Hays Stinnet Memorial Scholarship

The Heather Hays Stinnett Memorial Scholarship honors Colorado CattleWomen Past President Heather Stinnett.  The Scholarship will be $4,000.  Applications are due April 1, 2024 and scholarship will be awarded at the 2024 Colorado CattleWomen annual convention.

Eligibility:

  1. Junior, Senior, or a Graduate student at an accredited 4-year university or college
  2. Agriculture or Agriculture related major (ex. Pre vet)
  3. Colorado Resident (may attend an out of state institution)
  4. 3.0 GPA
  5. Female

Preference:

  1.  Beef production or affiliated industry background
  2. Collegiate CattleWomen officer, State FFA officer, or State 4-H officer

Requirements:

  1. Cover sheet with name, address, and email.  If the address is not in Colorado, describe qualification. (ex. Parents address)
  2. 1 page essay on “How I plan to influence the beef industry and agriculture with my chosen major”.
  3. A brief resume that includes:  work history, community involvement, college activities and future goals.
  4. Two letters of reference.
  5. Current official college transcript
  6. An interview may be required via zoom
  7. Attendance at the Colorado Cattlewomen’s convention for award presentation in Colorado Springs, CO June 24-26, 2024.

Heuser Law

This scholarship will offer five students a $1,000 scholarship each to be applied towards their tuition or other education-related expenses. Applicant must be a Colorado high school senior who will be attending college, trade school, or joining the military. Apply here!

Jim Hutton Educational Foundation

Applicants MUST be pursuing a career in nursing whether as a new nursing student, a student currently enrolled in a nursing program or as a professional nurse pursuing higher education to be eligible for this $2,000 scholarship. Apply here

Ken Amen Memorial

The Ken Amen Memorial Scholarship recognizes confident young people who excel in core leader areas of agriculture, community involvement and faithful servant leadership. The scholarship amount will be given as follows: $1000 to current college students. Apply here

Kurz Industrial Solutions Wind Energy

This scholarship awards two $1,000 scholarships to students willing to propel the growth of wind energy in the U.S. for generations to come. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a renewable energy program, and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. The must also be currently enrolled as a sophomore at Northeastern. This scholarship is also open to students enrolled in specific technical certification programs. Apply here

Latin American Educational Foundation (LAEF)

Applicants must be a Colorado Resident - regardless of US permanent legal residency status or US citizenship, under represented class, or actively involved in the Hispanic/Latino community and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Apply here!

Latinas First Foundation 

Students should have a minimum 2.0 grade point average, can be a high school senior or college student to apply, and should be a resident of Colorado. We encourage all under represented classes from Colorado to apply including those who qualify for ASSET. To apply, click here!

Logan County Cattlewomen

Two scholarships are available to students pursuing a Career/Technical program, Associates of Applied Studies in an agriculture related field, directly entering the agriculture industry OR for further education (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program) in an agriculture related field.  To apply, click here!

Logan County Colorado State University Alumni Association

This is a $2,000 scholarship. Scholarship must be used to attend Colorado State University on campus in Fort Collins towards an undergraduate degree; Applicant must be eligible for admission to Colorado State University, be admitted to Colorado State University, and be in good standing. Logan County Nurses

This award is only available to residents of Logan County Colorado. Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

Morgan Conservation District

Prairie Development Corporation Trade School

Prairie Development Corporation is offering a trade school scholarship to high school seniors in our service area of Cheyenne, Elbert, Kit Carson, and Lincoln Counties.

Reisher Scholars Program

Awards range from $4,000 to $11,000 per academic year. Applicant must be Colorado resident, must be transferring from a Colorado community college as a junior or entering second year at Northern Colorado as a continuing student and have a Minimum 3.0 GPA. visit the site here

RSM Scholarship Opportunites

The RSM US Foundation awards 10 business and technology students annually with a $10,000 scholarship each and an invitation to an RSM information session. Find more information here 

Skulls for Scholars Criminal Justice

This scholarship is typically awarded to a qualified graduating high school senior or an active college student in Colorado pursuing a career in the criminal justice system. Graduating high school seniors with a GPA of 2.7 or better who have applied or been accepted to college and  current college students with a GPA of 2.7 or better are eligible to apply. Soil and Water Conservation Society (Colo. Chapter) Undergrad Student

Two $500 scholarships are offered to entering juniors or seniors in natural resource related fields while attending a four-year Colorado college. Applicant must be a Colorado resident. Must be enrolled in a four-year Colorado college pursuing a degree in a natural resource-related program. Must be entering junior or senior year the next fall semester. Apply here

Sterling Regional Med Center Volunteer

This program consists of six $1,000 scholarships.  Scholarships are limited to those who have not received one in the past.  However, if you applied and did not receive a SRM Volunteer scholarship, feel free to apply again. Applicant must be a high school graduate and have been admitted to a 2- or 4-year college and be going into some field of medicine. 

Write a letter of application giving the following information:

  • Medical field you are interested in pursuing and why
  • Any activities you have participated in pertaining to the medical field, such as HOSA, Volunteens, etc.
  • Any school and community activities you have been involved in
  • Your GPA
  • Reason you are applying
  • Include two letters of recommendation
  • Any other pertinent information you would like to have included
  • A small photograph for publicity purposes
  • College student ID if possible

Waste Management Four Corners

Waste Management of Colorado is pleased to support students pursuing a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic major with a $2500 scholarship. Applicant must be pursuing a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic major. Be high school seniors or graduates, or current college undergraduates. Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah or Arizona and have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Apply here!

Weld Community Foundation

The Foundation offers scholarship awards to all types of students including graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, non-traditional (generally students 25 years old and older), students who have had a break in their education and students seeking vocational education. please visit the Community Foundation's website to review the specific criteria for each available scholarship to determine if you are eligible for any of them.

Weld County Cattle Women

The Weld County Cattle Women are offering a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a college junior, senior or a student studying for an advanced degree. The student needs to be a Weld County, Colorado resident, be attending a college or trade school with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The student must be planning to attend a school full time in a bachelors or graduate level program. 

To apply the applicant must submit:

  1. Cover Sheet with name, address, and email. If address listed is not in Weld County describe how you qualify (parents address, etc.) 
  2. One letter of reference 
  3. A brief statement including the following: work history, community involvement, college activities, future goals. 
  4. A 1 page essay on "How I could positively influence the beef industry with my chosen major.”
  5. Copy of college transcript.

Weld County Livestock Association

The Weld County Livestock Association provides annual $500 scholarships to outstanding students who reside in Weld County, Colorado. The scholarships are offered to graduating seniors and students completing their freshman year in college or trade school. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in agriculture or intent on making a positive impact on rural communities. Apply here

Women Helping Women Reach for the Stars

TransAlta has commenced the second annual Women in Trades Scholarship with funding of up to $3,000 for eligible applicants. This scholarship is designed to encourage and assist under represented classes in obtaining post-secondary industrial trades education, Support capacity-building by helping to increase the number of women professionals in the communities where we operate, which is in line with our goal to have 40% women in the workplace by 2030; and Increase the number of women role models in our communities by showcasing successful women in trades through this program.
