Justin Covelli Memorial Scholarship

Justin David Covelli was born June 2, 1973, in Brush, Colorado to Barry and Michelle Covelli. Justin was raised on the family farm in Weldona, Colorado. Justin loved fanning with his father, uncle and grandfather as he grew up . He loved playing basketball and watching basketball, especially the Duke Blue Devils. In 2011, Justin was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away in Loveland, Colorado due to complications during surgery on January 22, 2011. Justin graduated from Weldon Valley High School in 1991 and from the University of Northern Colorado in 1995 with a degree in business management. Justin was a loving husband of four years to Melissa and father to two young sons, Aidan,16 months old and Mason, 5 months old. He was an outstanding husband and father and enjoyed every minute with his family. Justin was quiet and humble, but was a great friend and had a contagious laugh. Just was well liked and respected by all his friends and coworkers. He enjoyed working as the manager and an agronomist for CHS, Inc. in Wiggins, Colorado. Justin's family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his life and the joy he brought to everyone. He was a special person and the legacy he left will live on.
