Darryl W. Rhodes Farm Credit Scholarship

Mr. Rhodes retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. AgBank, FCB, in January 2012, following almost 40 years of service to the Farm Credit System. Mr. Rhodes was raised on a ranch and dry-land farm operation near Deer Trail, Colorado.  He played varsity basketball at Northeastern Junior College during his freshman and sophomore years. He was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society in his sophomore year and was honored as an Outstanding Northeastern Junior College Alumni in 2008. The purpose of this fund is to provide support of scholarship to students enrolled in programs within Northeastern's Agriculture Department.

This $2,500 scholarship is awarded to one full-time sophomore student who demonstrates financial need, is a resident of Colorado and maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA.
