Northeastern Junior College President Mike White presents retiring NJC Advisory Council member Karen Ramey-Torres with a retirement gift at the council’s meeting Sept. 21, 2023. Ramey-Torres was on the council for eight years, from 2015 to 2023, serving as chair from 2020-22 and vice chair from 2018 to 2020.

Northeastern Junior College recently recognized outgoing Advisory Council members Karen Ramey-Torres, who was on the council for eight years, from 2015 to 2023, serving as chair from 2020-22 and vice chair from 2018 to 2020, and Kendra Anderson, who served on the council for five years, from 2018 to 2023. NJC would like to thank these individuals for their years of service. “We appreciate your dedication to our students and your willingness to donate your time to serve on our Advisory Council,” NJC said in a press release.
