My name is Kelsey Dillinger, I am a local resident who grew up in the community. I started my nursing career in high school starting with the local high school’s med prep program where I became a CNA, after high school I attended NJC’s LPN program and then returned for my RN. In my nursing career I worked as a correctional nurse and as a child/adolescent psychiatric nurse in Denver. I enjoy teaching hands on skills and relating real life experiences to nursing profession. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, reading, and am an amateur crocheter.

My favorite part about studying Fire Science is I can always see a practical application for what I am learning.

Seeing how the NJC shop compared to his high school shop was mind blowing.
