Essay

Are you interested in being considered for a National Western Stock Show and Rodeo Scholarship?

NWSS Qualifications and Requirements:

  • To be considered you must have been a former participant in the National Western Stock Show during the annual January show (showing, judging, working in the volunteer program, or participating in a sanctioned 4-H/FFA project).
  • Participation in shows held at NWSS at times other than the actual January Stock Show dates for each specific year DO NOT qualify you for a NWSS scholarship.
  • Participation in National Western 4-H Roundup or pre-Denver Horse Show DOES NOT constitute eligibility.
  • Applicants must mail in a statement describing their participation in the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo. This statement should include a list of years and specific NWSS activities.
  • Applicants must also submit a letter of support from a person (not a family member) who is familiar with your participation and involvement in the NWSS.
