The 26-27 Application Now Open

Due to program expansion, Northeastern Junior College is pleased to announce that the Cosmetology Application has reopened for Fall 2026 enrollment.

We will begin accepting applications for the 27-28 school year on October 1st.

We appreciate your interest in the Cosmetology program at Northeastern Junior College. In order to be considered as an applicant for the program, Please complete the application. Upon completion of this information, your application will be placed on file for review.

Review Process: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the program is full.

Introduce Yourself (30–45 seconds)

State your name, school, and grade. Share a little about yourself and why you're interested in cosmetology. Why Cosmetology? (45–60 seconds)

Explain what interests you about hair, nails, skincare, makeup, or helping people. Share what inspired you to choose this pathway.

Your Strengths (60–90 seconds)

Highlight strengths such as communication, creativity, patience, teamwork, or attention to detail. Describe how they will help you succeed in the beauty industry.

Salon Professionalism (45–60 seconds)

Discuss your understanding of professionalism in beauty services: sanitation, safety, respecting clients, time management, and proper tool care.

Future Goals (30–45 seconds)

Share your goals in the beauty industry, such as working in a salon, owning a business, or specializing in a specific area.
