Secondary auto tech program on a roll

The Secondary Automotive Technology program at Northeastern Junior College had a huge following at its annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry held this past Friday night out at North Campus.

The students had pre-sold more than 180 tickets to the event and when the fryers were cooling off, it appeared as though an additional 50 people had come through the line and paid at the door. The Fry was a fundraiser to help support the costs associated with running the group`s Skills USA race car, a class project, at area tracks this coming spring as well as other equipment and tool costs incurred in the program`s training labs.
