STERLING — The Northeastern Junior College athletic programs are offering summer camps for kids ranging from grades pre-K through high school. The Men’s Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer teams as well as the Women’s Basketball, Volleyball and Softball programs are offering a variety of programs to enhance and teach the skills of their respective sports.

Baseball – June 6-9

Ages 6 -13 8-11 a.m.

Day one of the camp will cover all aspects of pitching, including mechanics, mentality and pick-offs.

Day two will cover defensive skill in the infield, outfield and catching, as well as footwork and throwing.

Days three and four will cover hitting and bunting.

$35 per session or $120 for all four (4) sessions

Women’s Basketball

— June 6-9

Fundamental Day Camp (4th-9th Grade) – 9 to 11:30 a.m., Bank of Colorado Event Center. $50 per camper

Little Lady Hoopers (Pre K-3rd Grade) – 1 to 2:30 p.m., Bank of Colorado Event Center. $40 per camper

Camps include: Camp T-shirt, camp basketball, and camp awards

Pre-registration and walk-ups are welcomed.

$40 per Kid

Camps include: Camp T-shirt and basketball

Women’s Volleyball

— June 27-29

June 27 – Defensive Clinic: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bank of Colorado Event Center

June 28 – Setters Clinic: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bank of Colorado Event Center

June 29 – Hitters Clinic: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bank of Colorado Event Center

Each session is $70

An hour break will be provided for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. (Lunch NOT provided)

Little Diggers

Grades: K, 1st, 2nd

Camp dates: Monday, Aug. 15, and Tuesday, Aug. 16

Time: 9 to 10 a.m.

Location: Bank of Colorado Event Center (Main Gym)

Cost: $20

Little Spikers

Ages: 3 and 4 year olds

Camp dates: Monday, Aug. 15, and Tuesday, Aug. 16

Time: 9 to 10 a.m.

Big Blockers

Grade: 3rd – 8th

Camp Dates: Monday, Aug. 15, and Tuesday, Aug. 16
