First ever Mudevil Dayz a success

After having to postpone a week, it was the perfect weather Saturday for Northeastern Junior College Diesel Power Club’s first-ever Mudevil Run, held at the corner of Highway 138 and Pioneer Road.

“It was a huge success,” said Jimmy Atenico, NJC diesel instructor.

Approximately 325 people came out to watch the event and 40 drivers competed. Atencio noted drivers came from as far away as below Trinidad, near the New Mexico border, as well as Pueblo and Keenesburg.
