NJC Diesel Club planning Mudevil Dayz

Those looking do some mud racing in their vehicle will have a chance when Northeastern Junior College’s Diesel Power Club presents its first ever Mudevil Dayz on Saturday, April 16.

Tim Zink, a member of the club, met with the Logan County Commissioners Tuesday during a work session, to request that fees be waived for an ambulance to stand by at the event, as has been done for school football games.

Zink said the purpose of the event, which is being sponsored by Horizon Motorsports and University Auto Parts, is “to try to raise money for our diesel program, so we can get a little more budget money, so we can actually spend a little more money on projects.”
