As is yearly tradition, the Northeastern Junior College Alumni Association took time Saturday to honor outstanding graduates and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, at its annual Hoops Homecoming Awards Luncheon.
“Today is dedicated to a group of incredible individuals who exemplify the excellence that NJC teaches to strive for,” said Mark Kokes, alumni association vice president.
Among the awards presented was the Service Award, which goes to an active member of the Alumni Association who has demonstrated outstanding service toward the goals and accomplishments of the association through significant contributions of time and work. This year’s award recipients were Jim Dorland and Arlys Hanson.
