The NJC Foundation office at Northeastern Junior College has appointed Vivian Hadley (on right, in image above) as its new executive director of philanthropy, making the Foundation’s campus office in E.S. French Hall now fully operational. The Foundation brought aboard Erin Owens (on left) as the NJC Foundation Coordinator in November.

“Vivian brings a great amount of energy and community connection to allow us to connect with current, potential and future donors,” said Jim Smith, president of the NJC Foundation Board. “We are happy to be able to fill this position with such a well-respected member of our community.”

Hadley will steward the mission of the Foundation, which includes maintaining solid relationships with the many generous donors who support Northeastern. She will also be responsible for developing new donor relationships that would contribute to scholarships and projects such as the current capital campaign to fund the expansion of Northeastern’s Applied Technology Campus.

“Vivian’s deep knowledge of the community and her engaging interpersonal skills will serve her and the Foundation very well in this position,” said Jay A. Lee, president of Northeastern. “We are excited to have her aboard and working with Erin to re-energize our philanthropic and development efforts.”
