Final Exam Schedule

Full-Term and/or B-Term Classes

May 11^th-13^th 2027

Students are required to take all final exams during regularly scheduled times. Exceptions can only be granted for very limited and specific reasons and all exceptions must be approved by the Department Chair, Dean, or Vice President of Academic Affairs.

COLLEGE ALGEBRA CLASSES:

All MAT 1340 - College Algebra classes will take their final exam on Tuesday, May 11th, from 1:30 -3:10 p.m. All other math courses will test using the schedule below.

ENGLISH CLASSES:

All English classes will take their final exam on Monday, May 11th, from 3:20- 5:00 p.m.

EVENING CLASSES:

Will take their final exam at their regularly scheduled time during finals week. Classes will be extended to 1 hour and 40 minutes to accommodate testing.

**If a student has a 4:10 M,W,F and/or a 4:10 T,R class that conflicts with an evening class final, the student must notify both instructors to schedule an alternate exam time for one of the classes.

B-TERM CLASSES:

Follow the test schedule for the respective class time.

REMOTE & HYBRID CLASSES:

Final exams will be scheduled during the four-day final exam period. If a defined time period is used, it will coordinate with the exam schedule above.

CTE PROGRAMS:

Final examinations, shop/lab cleanup, and student dismissals are not to be completed earlier than 3 pm on May 13^th for cohort programs including Auto Technology, Cosmetology, Diesel Technology, Welding, Wind and Industrial Technology. All other occupational programs are to follow the hourly testing schedule or the directions of their program.

Final Exam Policy:

The time set aside for final exams (100 minutes) is incorporated into the time required by CCHE for each regularly scheduled class. It is required that classes meet during the final exam period. Faculty are expected to use this time for final examinations or other meaningful educational activities. Simply meeting to complete student evaluations is not sufficient use of this time. If you are planning something other than an examination, you are required to get approval from your Department Chair well in advance of finals week. Some courses may be such that an exam is not pertinent, but these need to be discussed with your Department Chair.
