Blue Spruce Hall is Northeastern’s newest residence hall. Built in 2011, Blue Spruce is LEED Certified. Each floor is broken down into wings, each with 12-22 residents. Study rooms are located on each floor and can be used for individual or group studying.
On the main level you will find a spacious lobby equipped with a fireplace; a TV room, residential style kitchen, laundry facilities, study room, and mailboxes. Off of the main level is a spacious courtyard with a grill and picnic tables, and a great grassy area for outdoor activities. The second level is complete with a balcony overlooking the main lobby, a lounge area, study room, and an outdoor patio overlooking the courtyard. The third level boasts a spacious balcony overlooking the NJC campus and is a great place to host social gatherings and events. Each floor is also equipped with an ADA accessible room and bathroom.
Residents of Blue Spruce also have climate controls, cable service, and high speed internet in their rooms along with individual desks, dressers, closet space, and height-adjustable beds.
