Ranch Horse Versatility

Northeastern Junior College allows advanced and novice western riders and their horses to learn about competing in four western events: cow horse, reining, pleasure and trail.

Through class enrollment, students will learn techniques and skills to compete in collegiate stock horse classes, as well as gain opportunities to show and work with industry clinicians and judges. Northeastern Ranch Horse Versatility also hosts two shows during the academic year. These shows help students acquire basic skills in event management as well as fund the team's show entry fees and travel. This has enabled Northeastern to be one of the only colleges to pay for enrolled students' complete entry and travel expenses.
