Donald E. Harley Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Donald E. Harley was one of eight Harley children who attended Northeastern Junior College. He was a Plainsman from 1959-1961 and spent his time on campus studying engineering. He was also a member of Student Council, Sophomore Class President, a member of the Basketball team and was named Plainsman Top Hand.

Donald went on to the University of Colorado where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He worked for the Federal Highway Administration for 30 years before retiring on June 1, 2001. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 78 and his family created this memorial scholarship in his memory.
