This Pulitzer Prize winning play is about a 1930’s family of madcap eccentrics who march to the beat of their own drum. Their lifestyle of collecting snakes, building fireworks in the basement, and taking ballet lessons gets upended when one of the daughters wants to bring her fiancé and his Wall Street family to dinner.

What follows is an adventurous series of mishaps and misunderstandings that threaten the very existence of this quirky family.
