Elsie Good Memorial Scholarship
The Elsie Good Memorial scholarship is a $1,500 award per year to a NJC graduate who is a Logan County resident, with a 3.0 GPA, and planning to transfer to a four-year institution within the state of Colorado. The award may be renewed for additional year(s), based on proof of enrollment and continued good academic standing (2.5 GPA or higher) at a Colorado four year institution.

Tom L. Porter Memorial Scholarship
The Tom L. Porter scholarship is a $500 award to a NJC sophomore transferring to CSU. Student must be from the 5-county region of northeastern Colorado (Logan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Yuma or Washington.)

Commencement Award
Names of winners of graduation awards are announced at Commencement each year. The Charles F. Poole Award goes to the person who leads the class scholastically, has attended Northeastern Junior College continuously, and has contributed to campus activities. The Armilda W. Dowis Vocational Award goes to the outstanding graduate in occupational program.
The Bruce & Maxine Gill Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1994, the Bruce Gill Memorial Scholarship is presented to an NJC graduate with an associate’s degree and a 2.5 GPA or better, displaying scholarship and leadership abilities and planning to transfer to Colorado State University. The award carries a nonrenewable cash stipend to be used for the junior year at CSU.

Keith Propst Memorial Agricultural Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is to be given to an NJC agriculture education graduate with 3.5 cumulative GPA with plans to attend Colorado State University.

The recipient must have completed two years of full-time study in Business at Northeastern Junior College with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The student must be transferring to a 4-year college or university in Colorado to complete a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  The recipient must also be from the 5-county region of Northeast Colorado (Logan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Yuma or Washington.)

Alyce Mari Memorial Scholarship
The recipient must be a graduate of Sterling High School and must have matriculated into an established nursing school degree program, whether a two-year nursing degree program (“LPN”), a three-year nursing degree program (“AND”), or a four-year nursing degree program (“BSN”).
