How am I going to pay for school?

FAFSA

As part of the Application Process, you will fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your Financial Aid award is based on a standard Federal formula that calculates the cost of attendance minus your family contribution. Family contribution takes into account family/student income, assets, age, family size, etc.

Scholarships

As part of the application process, Freshman entering NJC will fill out the General Scholarship application. There are also many other opportunities to apply for scholarships.

AmeriCorps

NJC participates in a service based award known as AmeriCorps. Scholarships amounts vary depending on the service agreement chosen. Learn more about AmeriCorps

Payment Plans

NJC has an available payment plan through FACTS Management Company. FACTS is a no-interest way to pay your college expenses.
