Foundation's Pathway Scholarship

In November 2019, the Northeastern Junior College Foundation Board set aside $50,000 in matching funds for a new scholarship. In early 2020, details were finalized and a new scholarship named the Foundation's Pathway Scholarship was created. The Board hopes to match the donations of community members with this fund to provide even more assistance to students who plan to attend Northeastern. This scholarship was founded in part by the Board as homage to Bob Plank and the work he has done for the NJC Foundation in the local area and surrounding communities.

The goal of the scholarship is to increase post-secondary credential completion and assist in preparedness of Colorado students to earn a livable wage, graduate with a minimum of cost-of-college debt and positively contribute to the growth of our state's economy. NJC Foundation's goal is to have a direct and positive impact on the economic vitality of our community by enabling an ever-growing educated workforce.

NJC Foundation endows and promotes the future of Northeastern, its students and its faculty through solicitation of funds, recognition of donations and provision of scholarships.
