Northeastern: Bruce C. and Sharon L. Perryman Presidential Emeritus Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is awarded to a sophomore student with a major in secondary business teacher education. The recipient must be a resident of either Colorado or Wyoming, and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference is given to Iraq or Afghanistan war veterans, student-athletes, and members of the Future Teachers Association. Applicants must submit unofficial transcripts, and a cover letter to include the following: a statement of why the applicant should be considered; a list of clubs and activities involved with at Northeastern; scholarships or financial aid received at Northeastern; why the applicant chose business as a major; and future plans after leaving Northeastern.
This scholarship was established by Bruce and Sharon Perryman. Dr. Perryman retired from many years of service to Northeastern Junior College in 2004. He participated in many fundraisers and other events over the years and this scholarship is proof of his dedication to the college. The scholarship aims to assist students majoring in secondary business teacher education.
