Following a “Care Bears” theme, all of the staff in the student services division at Northeastern Junior College dressed up for Halloween today. Each one was a different Care Bear. They invited the rest of the campus and students to stop by the student center for cupcakes, cookies, candy and other sugar treats.
Halloween on campus is always a big deal. The coaches encourage their athletes to dress up. And as in the past, if the baseball team entirely dresses up, they can put an end to their early morning practices. A number of events are taking place on campus today for the students including a costume party and dance in the lobby of Blue Spruce Hall.
Tonight, beginning at 5 p.m., the Aggies, Crossroads and Math, Science and Outdoor Club will be trick or treating neighborhoods to collect non-perishable food items for the Logan County Cooperating Ministries. The residence life program hosted a Trick or Treat Street this past weekend for area children and also held a haunted house in the basement of Hays Student Center.
