Welcome to the Theatre Department at Northeastern Junior College! We are excited that you are here. We invite you to take full advantage of the department and all that it has to offer. Our common course offerings are: Introduction to Theatre Theatre at NJC is expanding, and in the near future we hope to offer courses in musical theatre, stage combat, and Shakespeare. In addition to courses, the Theatre Department produces one main stage production each semester. These productions offer opportunities for NJC students to perform on stage, work backstage on the set or costume crew, technical crew (lights, sound, props), or running crew. No matter which side of the footlights you find yourself on, Theatre at NJC has something for you. The Theatre Club is a new addition to the department this year, and will be involved in exciting campus-wide activities such as Open Mic Night, New Works Festival, Theatre Showcase, and much more.
