Housing Contract Procedures
In order to be eligible for housing, you must be officially admitted to NJC.
After admittance into NJC, you should complete the following steps:
- Open the housing contract by clicking here.*
- Read the Terms & Conditions
- Fill out the form
- Click Print Application at the bottom of the form
- Sign the form.
- Pay the $125.00 Deposit: This reserves a space for you in the residence halls and serves as a security fee to cover any room/hall damages. A refund of this deposit, minus any damages, will be processed when you move out of the halls.
- Submit a Copy of your Immunization Records: The State of Colorado requires a completed Certificate of Immunization (specifically showing you have received two (2) MMR's (measles, mumps and rubella) to be on file for all students living in residence halls. The meningococcal immunization is not required by state law, but is recommended. Colorado law requires that all students who have not received, and does not anticipate receiving the immunization, sign a waiver indicating they understand the dangers of the disease, but desire to not receive the immunication. The waiver can be found on the second page of the Certificate of Immunization. Please check the box to indicate you have reviewed the information on meningococcal disease and have decided that you will not obtain a vaccination against meningococcal disease. Sign, date and send the form along with your Certificate of Immunization, housing contract and deposit. If you under eighteen years of age, a parent/guadian must sign for you.
