Practical Nursing
The Practical Nursing Program is a two-and-a-half semester training program designed to prepare the student to fill the position of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Both classroom instruction and clinical experience are emphasized. Upon successful completion of the Practical Nursing Program and the state licensing exam, the graduate is eligible to continue his/her nursing education to obtain a Registered Nursing Degree. Nursing graduates find career opportunities in hospitals, nursing homes, physician's offices, and other community health service areas.
