Honors Program
Eligibility - Who Participates?
Learners who need to be challenged beyond the basics and students who want the prestige that comes with being part of this caliber of a group on a campus are great candidates. Typically, honor students will prefer participating in discussions over just listening to lectures. They are self-motivated. They enjoy learning and want to understand ideas and concepts. They want to move beyond books and backpacks into a higher intellectual domain. Some honor students may be very bookish while others are social butterflies. You?ll find athletes and adult-learners, aspiring engineers and future physicians- students who know they want something more. Students who deserve something more.
