Don't let the word "scholarship" scare you off! Many students who have not been academically high achievers have been awarded scholarships because they have a love and knack for working on automobiles and are interested in seeking careers in this area. KENT EWING MEMORIAL DIESEL TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP
Kent Ewing served as instructor/coordinator of the Ag Diesel/Farm Mechanics Program at Northeastern for twenty years before his retirement. His commitment to educating young people in the field of agricultural business prompted his family to establish this scholarship in his memory. One scholarship per year in the amount of $500 is awarded to an NJC sophomore majoring in Diesel Technology.
