Payment Options

In Person:	You may pay at the Cashier's Office by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. The cashier office is located in Hayes Student Center, Room 132, and is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Mail:	You can mail your payment to the Cashier's Office using the address listed below. Please make sure and write your student ID # on your check or money order. Northeastern Junior College Attn: Cashier's Office 100 College Avenue Sterling, CO 80751

Telephone:	Credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) are accepted by calling the cashier at 970-521-6728, (Toll Free – 1-800-626-4637 & request cashier.) You will need to have the account number and expiration date available.

Online:	Pay for tuition and fees online at MyCommunity ED.

Payment Plans:	Our deferred payment option goes online with FACTS! It’s Easier & Convenient! To help you meet your educational expenses, NJC offers FACTS as a convenient budget plan. This is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The cost to budget your interest-free monthly payment plan is a $30 per semester nonrefundable enrollment fee. To read more on FACTS please visit the E-Cashier site.

Third Party:	If tuition and fees are to be paid by a third party, students must provide a copy of the authorization to the Cashier at the time of registration. The cashier office will bill any third party sponsors. However, ultimately it is still the students’ responsibility to make sure all account balances are paid in full.

Financial Aid:	Verification of payment by financial aid is complete only when the student has received an award letter of funds, other than work-study, sufficient to cover the student’s cost of tuition & fees. Students must complete the promissory note in order for loans to be disbursed on the students account. For more information see the Financial Aid web site.

Holds:	Failure to pay tuition and fees will result in a hold being placed on students accounts. The hold will not allow a student to register for additional classes or receive transcripts. Please note if a student has set up a FACTS Payment Plan the student will be able to register for additional classes, however, no transcripts will be released until an account is 100% satisfied.
