Dominguez signs with Florida International

Mike Dominguez of the Northeastern Junior College (NJC) Plainsmen basketball team, recently signed to play basketball and continue his education at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami. FIU is a Division 1 school and participates in the Sun Belt Conference. (more)

NJC Plainsmen Add Brush High School Standout

The Northeastern Junior College Athletic Department and the Plainsmen Men's Basketball Team announced the commitment of Brush High school standout Jared Spooner. Spooner joins a Plainsmen team that went 30-4 on the season and a top 10 national ranking. Jared averaged 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game and leaves a Brush team that went 10-13 on the year. (more)
