Plainswomen Hit the Road

For eight sophomores the dream of winning a Region IX Championship is within grasp.  After a success start this past weekend in North Platte, Nebraska the Plainswomen take their perfect record of 6-0 on the road to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on some of the nation’s elite programs.  First year Head Coach Amber Wiedeman was quite pleased with her team’s efforts. “Our girls stepped up and competed this past weekend like we knew they could,” explained Coach Wiedeman. “However we have room for vast improvement and have been working extensively at correcting some of our shortcomings.” (more)

Come Meet the Plainsmen

On Wednesday September 1, 2010, the Northeastern Junior College Athletic Program will be holding the “Inaugural Meet the Plainsmen.”  This event will be held at the Bank of Colorado Event Center located on the campus of Northeaster Junior College starting at 6:00 PM.  There will be no admission cost and plenty of free giveaways.
