Young Farmers

Young Farmers
The NJC Young Farmers Chapter is a local affiliate of the National Young Farmers Educational Association
NJC provides life-long learning opportunities to area farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness people by coordinating the Young Farmer educational program in our service area. In most cases, the local ag instructor serves as instructor/advisor. This program allows producers and agri-businesses to stay current with the changes in the agriculture industry. It also helps develop and enhance their leadership skills which are needed to better serve their communities and the agriculture industry.

The educational programs are determined by the needs of the members enrolled in the program. Most of the educational programs are held during the winter months with individual instruction being scheduled at the convenience of the member and instructor. Listed below are the instructors in your area. Feel free to contact them for further information about this exciting opportunity to stay current in the challenging field of agriculture.
