Contact Larry Pollart
Mr. Pollart grew up on a farm and ranch near Holly, Colorado, which produced irrigated and dryland crops, cattle, hogs, and horses. He earned degrees from NJC and Colorado State University in Vocational Agriculture Education and was active on the livestock judging teams at both institutions.

He taught Agricultural Education at the high school level for ten years in Nebraska. During that time, he was recognized as the Outstanding Young Member in the NVATA and received the Honorary State FFA Degree. Most recently, he taught a variety of Animal Science and other agricultural courses at Casper College in Wyoming and also served as their assistant livestock judging team coach.

Mr. Pollart joined the NJC Agriculture Faculty in fall of 2000 where he teaches courses in Animal Science, Feeds and Feeding and is the NJC Livestock Judging Team Coach. He and his wife, Kristy, and daughter Angelie still take an active part in the family farm and ranch.
