Students seeking a career in the equine industry generally major in Equine Science. This major has two concentrations: the Industry Concentration an the Science Concentration. The Industry Concentration prepares students to transfer and prepare for careers in the training and production sectors of the industry. The Science Concentration is designed to prepare students for graduate degrees after they have completed their Bachelor level program. The same checksheets are used for both Animal Science and Equine Science majors.
