Soils Instructor and Chemical/Fertilizer Applicator Instructor Contact Mike BrownellMr. Brownell re-joined the NJC Ag Faculty in 1997 to serve as the instructor for the Chemical/Fertilizer Applicator Program and assist with the Farm Business Management Program. He brings practical experience to the classroom as he remains active in their family farm operation near Fleming and has worked in production agriculture and agribusiness. He operated his own semi-truck for several years and teaches our Commercial Drivers License Training course. In the summer of 1999, he became our Soils instructor, giving up his duties as a Farm Business Management instructor. He was selected as NJC's Outstanding Full-time Faculty Member for the 2000-2001 year. He is an NJC alumni and graduated from CSU with an Ag Education degree. He taught high school vo-ag in Otis for three years in the 1980's and for NJC in the early 1990's before pursuing other interests. |
