Production Agriculture Coordinator Contact Mike AndersonOriginally from Southern California, Mr. Anderson moved to Longmont, Colorado, while still in school. Following his term as a State FFA Officer, he attended NJC and graduated with a degree in Ag Education from CSU in 1987. He judged on the livestock judging teams for both institutions and was a member of Farmhouse Fraternity while at CSU. He taught high school vo-ag in Nebraska and Colorado for four years prior to his employment with NJC which began in 1991. He has considerable experience in farming and ranching including commercial and registered cattle operations, swine and dairy production, irrigated and dry land farming and custom haying. He was selected by his peers as the Outstanding Faculty Member in the Ag/Tech Division in 1996-97. His livestock judging teams have been highly successful and many of his team members have gone on to judge for four year universities. |
