Border State Incentive (BSI)
Beginning Fall Semester 2006, students in neighboring Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma may attend NJC at a significant savings under the newly established Border State Incentive. This program, authorized through the Colorado Community College System, allows students from these areas to go to school here at a per credit rate that is half of what it used to be.
This is especially exciting news for Northeastern. In past years, a huge number of Nebraska students attended here. Many of these past students are now parents who want their children to consider NJC. This new pricing program should be very appealing to these families and others who know or have heard about the wonderful academic product delivered by Northeastern.
