Upon completion will I get a degree? Yes.  You will earn an AAS degree when the program is completed No.  You will earn a certificate and be employable, but you will not have a formal degree.
How long is the program? This is a two-year program.  You will be in the classroom for 5 semesters. This is a five-week intensive program that occurs during the summer.

Do I need to have many prerequisites to enroll in the program? No.  But it is highly recommended to have high Reading, Writing and Math Skills. Yes.  Each student entering will be evaluated on their electronics background and grant specific criteria.
Can anyone enroll in the program as long as there are openings? Yes. You must have electronics experience and priority will go to unemployed and people with a military background.
Is there funding available for students? Yes.  Most of it is based on the FAFSA.  There are limited opportunities for extra money. Yes.  Based on the situation, there are more chances to fund enrollment including housing scholarships.

Is there the opportunity to intern? Yes.  It is based on industry needs.  There are limited opportunities for financial assistance. No.  Internships are not part of the 5-week intensive program.
Will I get hands on training? Yes. Yes.

Is there a chance that I will not be accepted? Yes.  There is a strong demand for the program and it is encouraged you place yourself on the wait list. Yes.  The majority of the spots will go to those with electronic skills that have military ties or are unemployed.
