LBS Challenge

(Losing Weight, Building Confidence, Staying Healthy)

Program Overview

The “LBS Challenge” is a wellness program that focuses on helping individuals lose weight and build healthy living habits that are sustainable.  All community members are welcome to participate in the challenge, and an event center membership is not required to be involved. 

Those interested in signing up for “the challenge” should attend the first weigh in on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bank of Colorado Event Center.  Individuals participating in the program will have before/after photos taken of them.  Individuals are required to weigh in at least once a month, but also have the option to weigh in twice a month.  Body composition and measurements will be taken at the beginning, middle, and end of the program. 

The timeframe for the challenge is January 9, 2012 through April 2, 2012.  The individual losing the largest percentage of weight during the program will receive a $500 shopping spree to the local clothing retailer of their choice.  The shopping spree must be completed by May 4, 2012. 

Our goal is also to find a local individual/business donor who is willing to match the total weight loss from the participants with a donation to Cooperating Ministries.
